![]() Are you feeling like....
Here's the thing though... If you don't carve out a little time, before long you will feel burnt out and lack lustre... and that has serious health implications. Hi, I'm Melody... And I'm here to ask you to pause... and take a moment. I was like you and I needed a break - not once a week but every. single. day before I burnt out. I didn't have a lot of time but I did have a few moments in the day when I could make myself a cup of tea. So I extended that time to make a cup just for me, not to rush but to embrace fully the moment and the pleasure. I chose to have a cup of tea in a lovely cup and to read a short story and possibly look up a recipe that I could use later in a meal, Because I realised taking time out for my soul to be replenished and to feel nourished was essential for my mental, emotional and physical health and well-being. I'm all about telling stories, sharing recipes and information about my favourite time of the day, or place or time in history. When I have a cup of tea in a beautiful piece of china with a story or two, I feel happy and restored to myself. Why don't you join me here and see if taking these few minutes out of your day make you happy too? Deliciously, Melody A Cup and Saucer from Royal Albert China
My Lovelies, Here is a lovely cup, saucer and plate from Royal Albert China to start my first series of my podcast: Love Tales ad Recipes. According to Royal Albert China "The Royal Albert 100 Years Collection was launched in 2006 and celebrates over a century of outstanding design and floral heritage. All ten designs are inspired by Royal Albert's signature floral look and by stylistic and cultural references popular in a specific decade of the 20th century." I love this delightful, fresh design from the 1950's which I paired with a cup of tea, a story and recipe from my book. This podcast is available now Deliciously, Melody |
